I don’t believe that porn-based fic and art necessarily need to be graphic or explicit to be sexy, but I sure don’t mind when they are! If you’re looking for inspiration, I’m going to list a number of my NSFW preferences. For the most part I prefer many kinks to be under-negotiated, but if there is a buildup to a particular taboo act, or if it fits a character to desire a specific act of intimacy that you think should be explored in detail, then feel free to run with it!

Dark (TV 2017)

I have a huge amount of love for this series, as most people who know me can confirm; I love the cyclical nature of it, the way time travel is depicted, the philosophizing on destiny, free will, the inevitability of The End, and the way everyone speaks in riddles all of the time, unable to confirm or deny anything because of Paradox Reasons. I just find the writing so fascinating, and there’s so much opportunity to explore the space between certain periods of time as the characters grow older and wiser (and sometimes more jaded and murderous). The aesthetic of the show is absolutely wonderful—there are so many moody, sweeping landscape shots, and some really excellent sci-fi imagery and technology, and every time period has such a distinctive feel to it—and of course, everyone is related in really fucking strange ways, so all of the ships have the potential to get a little weird. ;)

Jonas Kahnwald/Noah (Hanno Tauber)

This ship offers a lot of really fun potential, because they have a number of first meetings: young Hanno meeting Jonas in 1921, Jonas meeting Noah in 1986, the pair of them discovering one another in 2023; I'm here for any of those moments in between, or anything that we haven't seen before in canon. They've got a relationship that spans a hundred years, kind of? Or, like, 66 years. Who knows. TIME'S WEIRD AND THEY KNOW IT. But Noah’s devotion to Jonas/Adam is such a delicious thing to play with (because his devotion to all things, including Being Really Strange, is just so strong), and his belief in the prophesied Paradise is ultimately what kills him—not to mention his absolute heartbreak at discovering that Adam is his betrayer, and not Jonas as he knows him during the apocalypse. Their stories are so closely intertwined, and Adam and Noah are the only two who take or are given their (Bible-inspired) names with purpose. Think of the symbolism! Think of the adoration and hero worship!

Prompts

It's the End of the World. I am here for absolutely anything that happens in the apocalypse, either when they are in their twenties or older. First time and/or breakup sex! Weird, risky escapades in the forest! Intimacy (whether sexual or not) in unexpected places! Finding places with running water and bathing, and admiring the first semi-nude or entirely-nude clean body they've seen in a little while! Cracking open the God Particle and hanging out in the nuclear power plant! Maybe this is a story about how they first meet and get to know one another in 2023, or maybe they meet in a different manner before Jonas attempts to hang himself; perhaps they take solace in being complete outcasts together, or maybe they clash a few times before becoming a little more comfortable with one another. I think it’d be cool to see them in their protective gear in the power plant, or scavenging for supplies in the apocalypse, or sharing meaningful glances as they depart to their separate sleeping places.

Don't I Know You? Jonas/Noah, but instead of it being a Same Age Ship, it's teen Jonas with Priest Noah, or young Hanno with Stranger Jonas. Adult Noah has already spent his adult years learning everything about Jonas, sex preferences included, and how mind-blowing would it be to encounter a man who already knows everything you like (and possibly gives you your own kinks, WHAT A PARADOX). Likewise, Stranger Jonas already knows precisely how smug, yet uncertain Hanno is, and he just might answer all of Hanno's 'I already know everything, yet I know so very little' questions about the future - like 'why does my older self speak about you like a scorned lover', or 'what is the nature of our eventual relationship, and why will it hurt me so badly when you betray me'? There are lots of moments in the series where they might interact and have meaningful conversations, even. And if you like, Adam mentoring young Hanno could be exciting, too—what the hell does their relationship look like when Hanno is that young and impressionable, anyway?

Back to the Future. Hanno asking Jonas (and/or Elisabeth! and/or Claudia!) about General Future Things. He's a kid from the early 1900s with a father from the early 2000s - he must know SOME things about the twenty-first century, but probably in the way that any kid knows Some Things About Their Parents' Youth. He also gets tossed into the modern day, so I think he deserves to learn about things like the internet, memes, pop culture, movies, and so on. Teach him about TikTok, or about Netflix And Chill! Show him what songs were popular on a cracked phone screen, or a laptop hooked up to a shitty, barely-usable internet connection. I'm sure he'd love to know about all of the things that happened between 1920 and 2020, and is probably VERY BAFFLED by Gen Z humour.

Three is Still Company, Kind Of. Just any old excuse to create a Jonas/Noah/Jonas or Noah/Jonas/Noah threesome, in any combination, anywhere between the ages of 16 to 50ish. If you can make this entirely feasible within the canon timeline (for example, the scene where Teen Jonas meets both Noahs at the same time in 1921), I will kiss you on the mouth. But feel free to get creative! I’d love to see them all together in any scenario that you see fit. I’m willing to accept anything at all.

Noah (Hanno Tauber) & Agnes Nielsen

Now this is a dynamic that I would absolutely love to see more of. Hanno and Agnes grow up in the Sic Mundus cult to parents who belong in very different times, and who have very different amounts of knowledge of the past, present, and future. They’re raised from birth to worship Adam as this powerful figure, and we know where that gets them in the end, but what’s it like for Noah and Agnes to grow up in this time period, knowing that there is so much of the world just beyond their reach, and learning slowly what their purpose is in all of this? Do they feel isolated from other children their age, or do they manage to have a happy childhood despite Silja’s death and Bartosz’s reluctant participation in Adam’s plan? I’d love to see them as children asking questions to a very exasperated member of Sic Mundus, or trying to reassure one another that they’re doing the right thing; and later in life, as time carries them in vastly different directions, do they miss one another? Tronte tells Claudia that Agnes hates her brother, but how much of this is the truth? Are there times where Noah and Agnes encounter each other in non-canon scenes, and what does Noah know or think of Agnes’s marriage with the Unknown, or of her shift to Claudia’s side and away from Adam’s leadership? Does Noah regret how their relationship has developed, or is his faith in Adam so strong that it overrides his feelings toward Agnes? And how does she feel once she kills him? What a complicated sibling relationship.

Members of the Sic Mundus Cult (any)

We haven’t met all of the members of Sic Mundus, and aside from what we see of Adam, Noah, Agnes, Franziska, Magnus, and Bartosz, we don’t get to discover much about what they get up to. How the heck does Adam keep them all in line through the early twentieth century? Aside from Bartosz, do any of the others butt heads with Jonas/Adam? How do they build their weird underground lair beneath the church? Is this a cult that all of Winden knows about, and do people steer clear of scarred Adam in public? What sort of shenanigans does Jonas learn from the Tannhaus family, and what sorts of time-travel studies can he undertake in the late 1800s? How do the teens from 2020 react and adjust to this new time period (lifestyle, technology, etc.)? Do they miss the comforts of the modern world, or do they adapt quickly out of necessity? I’d love to see the Sic Mundus members in late 1800s/early 1900s clothing, in the simpler rustic environments such as the inn where Noah works, or in the laboratory/lair as it’s being built.

Also, what are the relationships like between Noah and Agnes and the others, since they’re the first ones we see raised and fully immersed in this cult—have Magnus and Franziska adopted them as family, or do they see them as unpleasant reminders of the old world? Does Adam treat Silja any differently knowing their relationship, and how much of her family and heritage does she know? I’d love to see the Tiedemann family portrait, or scenes where Jonas’s friends try desperately to connect with this strange version of their old pal, or an exploration of what Sic Mundus was like for the Tannhaus family before Jonas ever brought them to that time.

Also-also, feel free to get into the God Particle plot–what did Jonas’s previous efforts to bring it to life look like? How does he recover from the electrical zaps as he’s bringing the wormhole into existence? For all the time that Jonas spent studying the wormhole in the apocalypse, does it bring him any joy to create this one, or is it only a grim reminder of what he must do? Does anyone else help him out with it regularly, or do they think he’s absolutely insane for attempting such a thing? And what the hell does it feel like to time travel, anyway? We know anyone entering the wormhole needs to wear protective gear, and that Jonas pukes immediately after traveling through it, but how does it affect him physically to travel the way that he does? Does anyone ever accidentally find their way into the Sic Mundus lair and discover this immensely powerful entity? Did young Hanno or Agnes ever attempt to sneak in and get caught? Do Sic Mundus encounter any hiccups while sending other non-main cast characters through the wormhole? Can it tear a person apart if misused, or worse? I just want to see this thing in action. ;-;

The Quarry (Video Game 2022)

If there’s one thing I love in my video games, it’s campy horror. And consequences. And people who have no choice but to band together under unusual circumstances to face an unknown threat. This will probably start to sound familiar to you as you read through my requests.

For this fandom, feel free to lean into the genre—this game knows it’s a semi-comedic middle-of-nowhere creature feature, and it knows it’s a campy teen scream-fest that could end in utter devastation, a classic last man standing/final girl scenario, or might even go fairly well for all involved. Feel free to take any or all of these tropes into account and lean into the one(s) that you enjoy the most! And while creating your story, art, or other medium of choice, please feel free to make creative use of the game mechanics—if you can fail a QTE in the game and change the course of things (for better or worse), what form might such an outcome take in a story, or in artwork? I’d love to see multiple possible versions of certain scenarios in whatever way you’d like to display it, or those god-awful slow-motion close-ups you see in decision screens, or visualizations of branching story paths!

Ryan Erzahler/Dylan Lenivy

You know I’ve gotta support the Radioheads. Though all flirtatious interactions are purely optional, the game often suggests that Dylan and Ryan can have a relationship worth pursuing, and their interactions—especially the more genuine and unguarded ones—give lots of opportunity to allow this romance to kindle. This could be a summer flirt-mance, a long-term investment, a thank-god-we’re-alive getting-together… or it could be two dudes just hanging out at camp for a couple of months, taking care of rowdy kids, locking eyes from across the room, and pretending they don’t know that all of the girls in bunk seven were ranking their hotness levels.

Prompts

Let’s Talk About That Decision. Ryan refused to amputate Nick’s leg, but the player can make him quick to separate Dylan’s hand from his body (in some cases). Let’s dig into that! Maybe Dylan is distraught after to discover that Ryan, if bitten by Laura, has made a full recovery, and subsequently ended the curse that could have potentially saved his hand; maybe he gets bitten again, turns, and regrows it, and needs to process the trauma of regrowing a limb that was unceremoniously sawed or blasted off; maybe Ryan can’t apologize enough for doing what he did, or has a tough time facing Dylan when dawn finally comes. Would Ryan’s guilt (or maybe even his sense of humour) make him bring Dylan’s hand back from the radio hut? Would Dylan want to see it, or is it confiscated by the police after? How the heck do you explain that injury to your parents? Scenes of Ryan covered in Dylan’s blood are more than welcome, or having him tending to Dylan’s wound would be great, too.

General Post-Canon. What did your ending (or even your favourite ending) look like for these two? How did they deal with everything after? When Ryan tells Laura that he’s not interested in Dylan, does he mean it, and if so, does he feel the same way between the beginning of the night and the end? Are they destined to remain friends, or do they lose contact with one another and reunite years down the road? I’d love to see something with them a bit older, but where they are in life might depend on how you think the night went—did they get arrested for murder, or did the evidence acquit them? Did Ryan ever go off to animation school, and did Dylan pursue quantum physics? A nice image of them reuniting at the end, or even a fun little choose-your-dialogue scene would be lovely.

Butterfly Effect. What if Kaitlyn had gone with Laura and left Dylan and Ryan to search the scrapyard? Is there a time through the summer where Dylan really got to appreciate Sexy Brooding Loner Sailing Instructor Ryan, or did Ryan spend all of his time wishing Dylan would include some different music in his DJ playlists? What if these two were the romance of the summer instead of Jacob and Emma, and were going their separate ways for university? What if Ryan had been bitten in the radio hut instead? What if Dylan were a crop-top person, or Ryan had those tattoo sleeves from his concept art? Give me the alt-canon lore!

Kaitlyn Ka & Dylan Lenivy

This is a friendship that really took me by surprise in the end, and I have to say that there is nothing that delights me more than pint-sized Kaitlyn protectively brandishing a gun while six-foot, one-handed Dylan cowers behind her… except for a six-foot and one-handed Dylan who attempts to rescue Kaitlyn with a frying pan, screams for her to escape in his final lucid moments, and throws himself at werewolves to protect her. These two are the epitome of ‘ride or die’, despite the awkward and quickly-forgotten romance situation, and I absolutely need more of their interactions.

Scrapyard Secrets. They share a lovely conversation about Dylan’s state of being, and ponder missed opportunities, but what if Dylan was as vulnerable with Kaitlyn as he is with Ryan? What if Kaitlyn is privately worried about school, or Jacob’s fragile state, or Nick and the others, and Dylan is the perfect confidante? Maybe Kaitlyn can admit that she knows who sabotaged the van, or Dylan can express his concern about Mr. H’s sex dungeon and surveillance rooms (which we simply glossed over, by the way!). I think any missing dialogue would be welcome here, and it can be as funny or heartfelt or even slightly worrisome as you’d like.

Getaway Drivers. Okay, so they just leave the junkyard without a vehicle, but get this: what if they didn’t? I need to know if Dylan can drive, or if Kaitlyn knows her way around a PRNDL, and I think every scene in later chapters would be a hundred times funnier if it involved these two hauling ass through the woods in some rusted old junker (and maybe slam into a werewolf, or a cabin, or something equally inconvenient).

Truth or Dare: Dylan Style (Take Two). Instead of daring Ryan to kiss Kaitlyn or Dylan, maybe Emma dares Dylan to kiss Kaitlyn or Ryan, and Dylan takes the least expected route. Maybe they kiss just for fun, because one does not need a romance to have a good time! I just think they would be so much fun together if they’re good pals from the get-go. ;-;

Kaitlyn Ka & Ryan Erzahler & Dylan Lenivy

And the girls in bunk seven spake thus: ranked by Hotness, first is Ryan, then Kaitlyn, then Dylan. Ordinarily this would make for a deliciously sexy love triangle, and sure, the game wants Ryan to choose between Dylan and Kaitlyn, but here’s the thing: Ryan has two hands, and they are both made for holding. These three are badass, confident (or compensating for their insecurities, at least!), and delightfully entertaining in a group setting. I need less romantic competition and more romantic collaboration. Or something like that.

Post-Canon Shenanigans! Just like the above prompts, tell me what happens to these three once the game concludes. Do we lose any of them along the way and mourn the dead later on? Are any still bitten and cursed, or do they escape with their lives? Would they attempt to remain in contact with one another through the trial, and how would their relationship change afterward? Do Dylan and Ryan go off to school and live with Kaitlyn in a cozy apartment, or do they get together every year to commemorate the worst year of Hackett’s Quarry Summer Camp ever?

Literally Just a Threesome. I sure don’t mind—go crazy! Maybe nobody was as secretive with their desires as they thought, or maybe certain sparks fly through the night in unexpected ways. I’m down for this to be as romantic and polyamorous and horny (or none of the above!) as you’d like it to be. Dealer’s choice. Is this something that happens at the beginning of the summer? Is it an endgame scenario? I’d love to see what the other counsellors think of this unexpected occurrence, too.

Ryan Erzahler & Laura Kearney

Surprisingly, these two also made for a delightful duo, and while dire and unfortunate circumstances united them (and maybe caused them a teeny amount of friction), I think this makes their unlikely friendship all the more interesting. I love that Ryan and Laura are with one another in that final scene, and how they attempt to protect one another throughout (the blood vial, the bite offer—you catch my drift). They may not be endgame, but they’re a relationship worth considering!

Prompts

To Bite or Not to Bite. We knew that option was coming, but I’d love to get a closer look at what was happening in the moment where Laura offered to inflict Ryan with The Curse. Ryan has the option to accept or refuse, and I’d like to see what’s going on in their heads as this happens; what does it feel like to experience a werewolf bite? Laura was very much in control of herself, but what if the taste of blood had awakened something in her? Does Ryan have any extra wisecracks to share about what sharp teeth she has, and how guilty would Laura feel over having turned him without being certain that Chris could be killed and the curse lifted?

Werewolf Anatomy. I need to know what it is that Laura experiences as the infection takes hold, and how Ryan fares if he’s infected as well; we know that it seems to amplify whatever emotions and thoughts a person has in the moment, but is this a painful experience? Is it strange to suddenly regrow an eye, or recover from extensive blood loss and stab wounds, or wake up after being shot point-blank? What’s it like actually being a werewolf? What does their vision look like, and how do fully-turned werewolves view other werewolves? Do they gain any other senses between full moons? I’d love to see a close-up of what Laura or Ryan look like–the werewolves in this game are SO UGLY, but they have a certain charm… after a while… :)

Pack Tactics. Ryan is viewed as a leader of the group when Laura rejoins the counsellors, and certain dialogue options can cause her to lose or gain respect for him, even though their goals are completely at odds; this can make their dialogue a bit tense, but it doesn’t stop Laura from grilling him about his relationships with the others. I’d love to see Ryan filling her in on what she missed as they attempt to invade the Hackett house, or Laura trying to make up for lost time by checking in with Ryan and making sure he’s okay when the night concludes. I think they’d make for excellent friends when all is said and done!

Distract Bobby. Literally just describe/recreate/otherwise showcase that fucking tactic (https://youtu.be/j9EkCVe2xms?t=83) Laura can use against the Hacketts. I feel like there’s a lot to unpack there. Ryan would be traumatized from that sound alone (can he ever see a knife without hearing that noise?) and I am sure Laura will never do that again in her life (especially when Constance shoots her after doing it). Please. I just want to share this scene with you. Do something with it.

Travis Hackett/Laura Kearney

I don’t need to tell anyone that these two clearly have the most complicated and well-written (and arguably the most pivotal) relationship of the game—the decisions they make affect the final outcome of the story, for better or worse, and together they are able to turn a dire situation into a new dawn. Whether you see this as a tense rivalry, a blooming romance, a werewolf-hunting-buddy-cop adventure, or however else you choose to view it, Travis and Laura are destined for one another.

More Post-Canon! Due to the branching nature of this story, I’d love to see your take on what happens after this fateful night; after successfully killing Silas, do they go their separate ways, or keep in contact? If Silas never showed up that night, would Travis and Laura have formed a pact to hunt him down for the rest of their days? Would Travis chain Laura (and/or Max) up, just like Chris, every full moon? Does anyone know who sent that box to Bizarre Yet Bonafide, and would Travis have strong feelings about it, or be relieved to hear that Laura and co. were acquitted because of it? I want to know how their story ends, and where they go after that.

Passing The Time. Laura and Max spend two months in the Northkill jail, chipping away Travis’s stoic exterior piece by piece; do they offer to play games with him? Does Laura try to share stories, or request that he stay a little later when he comes down to feed them? Maybe he agrees to bring in a DVD player for a movie night, or maybe Laura spends a lot of time thinking about little details—his badge, his name, the blood on his neck that first night. And seriously, what does Travis do when he’s in the police station? Does he ever sit at his desk and think about his prisoners? Maybe he toys with the idea of being nice, and lets guilt overcome him on occasion. Fill in the blanks for me!

Cuddle in Captivity. Maybe Laura will try anything to get out of her cell—we don’t know where Travis leads her for her shower, so maybe she takes that opportunity to catch his attention; maybe he lingers near the bars of her cell some nights and watches her, and tries to allow himself to become a little more vulnerable; maybe when she makes her big break, the great distraction is in the form of a kiss. Anything can happen!

And Max Makes Three. This wasn’t strictly in my sign-up, and is definitely not necessary to include if it isn’t your jam, but Laura also has two hands, and I will always welcome any combination of the three in whatever capacity you’d like. Tell me what happens when Laura and Max make secret plans to seduce him one-on-one, or when, after the events of the game, they reunite and start an unusual friendship off on a less creepy and kidnappy foot.

Jacob Custos & Emma Mountebank

After a lot of reflection (i.e. upon reaching the end of the game and seeing all of their final interactions), I decided that Jacob and Emma are a really fascinating “couple” with an intriguing dynamic. Of course, all that we see of them in canon is their post-game—Emma’s unwillingness to open herself up emotionally and her mockery of others for it, Jacob’s unreasonably childish response to [gestures broadly], and the ridiculous events that transpire as they attempt to navigate this new segment of their relationship, which means that there’s a lot about them that can be explored! The other counsellors have different things to say about their summer fling, and clearly the game’s epilogue leaves their conflict quite unresolved. I want to know if they reconcile or if they ever meet one another down the road! I want to know how unstoppable they were at the height of their summer romance! I want to see them navigate a doomed relationship from the beginning, and I want to know what it might look like if things had gone just a little differently.

Achievement Unlocked: Nobody’s Fool. While I’m a big fan of Jacob being overwhelmed by feelings of inadequacy as he begins to transform, I would actually love to see a proper ending for these two after dawn arrives and the curse is lifted. I think it would be really nice to see Emma let down her guard a little, or to see Jacob show a little more remorse for his actions—they are stranded because of him, after all, and I think it would do him some good to come clean about that properly. Maybe Emma has a different reaction to his confession this time around; or maybe immediately following the police taking them into custody, Emma covers for Jake and does not tell the police about his role in sabotaging the van. I’d love to see alternate dialogue options, or just the two of them sitting together, covered in blood, in the golden morning light. Maybe these two can end up keeping one another’s secrets after all.

Midsummer Night’s Dream. Jake and Emma are notoriously the It Couple of the summer—show me what their relationship was like at its very best. Jacob is clearly a very passionate and devoted guy (to a fault, sure, I won’t dispute that), but Emma has a magnetism to her that is almost inescapable; I’d love to see them flirting during camp activities, or cozying up together at a bonfire, or sneaking off in the middle of the night for their secretive swimming sessions in that nasty corpse lake. We know Jacob is very fond of sweet little nicknames, and we know Emma is a little more perceptive than she appears—how does this factor into their getting-together, or into their relationship prior to what was a fairly consensual breakup? ;)

Flash-forward to Reunion. Do Jake and Emma keep in touch after the events of The Quarry? I feel like these two would be the best candidates for a reunion quite some time down the road, when they have gained some wisdom, perspective, and a little bit of necessary empathy. What are they doing now—is Emma still an influencer, or has she gone dark on the ‘net and lives only in the now? Has Jacob managed to find happiness, or is he guilt-ridden over his role in the night’s events and struggling with the experience? You’re very welcome to write or depict this as a ‘yearning for what could have been’ scenario, or perhaps as a ‘rekindling an old flame’ thing, where they are now finding one another in the right place at the right time. Feel free to put them in different relationships, too; BlygBank can absolutely thrive, of course, and Jacob can certainly find someone of his own, if that is the sort of thing you fancy, hehe.

Hackett’s Quarry Counsellors (any)

This is more of a general request for doing pretty much anything you want! I’d love to see any and all of the counsellors interacting with one another in whatever scenario you’d like; feel free to draw on some of my other prompts, or recreate screenshots, or make your own dialogue and narrative paths; tell me about what happened before the events of the game, or show me what happened after it concluded (seriously, give this game a proper fucking ending, oh my god.); let me see Nick on kitchen duty at the camp, or Ryan showing the kids how to portage a canoe, or more secret illustrations in Abi’s sketchbook, or a messy, mid-transformation blood-and-flesh splatter scene. I’d love to see them sneak off in the middle of the night to different areas of the camp (we know Ryan has done so!), or find hidden areas that they didn’t know about, or trade stories about how they came to be counsellors (if any aside from Dylan and Ryan were familiar with HQ beforehand, etc.). Heck, let me have Chris Hackett taking a selfie with the counsellors and calling them noobs. Just do whatever you’d like! Any combination of people is welcome, and it can be shippy or non-shippy, full of angst or fluff or comedy or tragedy, and so on. Surprise me!

The Witcher (Sapkowski)

Geralt of Rivia & The Hansa

I’m a huge fan of the books, and I absolutely love the relationship between all of these people; in the past, I’ve requested a few ships between them, but this is a very general request to make anything that you’d like about the Hansa! Maybe it’s all platonic shenanigans, plot-related quests, missing scenes, images of these strange fellows just trying to survive; maybe you have a romance or two already in mind, such as a ship that you enjoy, or an interaction that you think they should have; you’re welcome to include as many characters as you’d like, doing whatever you’d like for them to do, and there is nothing too silly or serious.

I’m a big fan of each character for different reasons. I love that Geralt is the grumpiest of the group, and the most resistant to having the support, traveling together, etc. I adore the way the group supports Milva and the way she could absolutely destroy any one of them at any given moment. I love that Angoulême is kind of just adopted by all of them, loves a good shenanigan, and is terrifying in her own right. I love that Dandelion is probably keeping notes on each one so that he can publish his memoirs some day, and that none of the group would see him in any real danger. I love that Cahir has the opportunity to fight side-by-side as equals with Geralt, and that the quarrel against Emhyr and his birthplace (definitely not Nilfgaard) does not keep him from joining the right side. I love that Regis is just the weirdest, most mild-mannered, and most level-headed old pal you could ask to have around, and also sometimes he’s invisible. Show me them sitting around a campfire, or foraging for food, or traveling on the road, or in the midst of the battle on the Yaruga; show me Geralt and Cahir wrestling with one another and Milva lashing them, Geralt being rescued by Regis, Angoulême showing off her fighting skills, Dandelion wowing the group with his songs, or all of them at supper in their best clothing in Beauclair; I’d love to see dialogue, or portraits, or notes on each of them from Dandelion’s memoirs. Anything and everything is welcome <3

1899 (TV 2022)

If you know me, or have read above about my affinity for Dark (2017), then you may be able to guess that I am in love with this series from the same creators. I love mystery, I love sci-fi, I love period pieces, and I love a good bit of human nature-based introspection with a healthy dose of reality-breaking. I adore that this is a multinational cast, and I would love to see works which capture the aesthetic of the show (in both its time periods, with glitchy breaks in reality, impossible set pieces, period-appropriate technology and decor, etc.), and its themes of connection and communication, dishonesty and mask-wearing, the human mind and the effect of perspective. I’d love to see dialogue in multiple languages, different environments (Kerberos, Prometheus in 1899 and/or 2099, the dream/memory chambers), costuming laden with symbolism… seriously, anything you want to do, I’m happy to fawn over!

And since the second and third seasons ~~have not yet aired~~ were officially canceled while I was writing this letter please feel free to speculate as much as you’d like, if you’re interested in moving beyond the events of the first season—incorporate your favourite conspiracy theories about the show into your work! Make up your own story about how things might go in future seasons, or show me new environments and outfits for the characters we know and love. If you want to create something which takes place in a different simulation/time cycle, please do! This canon is made for just that—anything and everything could have happened in previous simulations, and since we don’t have all the answers yet, it means we get to make them up ourselves. ;)

For any of the ships listed below—most of which I’ve requested in my signup as being X/Y romantic ships—you’re also very welcome to write them simply as friendships, if you’d like, or let them be filled with as much Victorian-era and/or futuristic yearning as they can possibly generate.

Maura Franklin/Eyk Larsen/Daniel Solace

Well, what can I say about Maura and Eyk that hasn’t already been said? The yearning, the unspoken protectiveness, that strange sense of familiarity; I want all of that and more, and also I want Daniel to go into Project Kerberos attempting to wake up his wife, and I want him to end up with a boyfriend, too. Maura has two hands, goddamnit, and I think it’s only natural that she should get to have two absolutely pathetic doe-eyed men to do with as she pleases. I also think Eyk should gain a wife and husband both, etc.

Think about the possibilities! Maybe a scene depicting all three of them in a perfect power couple pose, or wearing one another’s clothing (Eyk and Daniel coat swap! Maura in a fancy waistcoat and Daniel in flowy clothing!), or as a family portrait with Elliot. I’d love to see interactions between them, anywhere from g-rated SFW to full threesome NSFW in any way you’d prefer; maybe there is more dialogue (confrontational? confused? hesitantly trusting?) to explore between Daniel and Eyk in the dining room or after Daniel teleports him into the woods, or maybe Maura and Daniel actually find time to have a conversation about their feelings for each other, and for the dear captain. Maybe they just bang, and it is highly emotionally fulfilling and pleasurable for all parties involved, and there is no plot whatsoever! I would love any and all levels of attraction and emotional and physical connection—any way you see this relationship happening, whatever it looks like or means to you, just go for it! Feel free to do as you please. <3

Eyk Larsen/Daniel Solace

With the above said, I also think it would be fun if Eyk and Daniel just sort of… accidentally developed their own thing. Maybe Maura is very supportive of it! Maybe Eyk actually harbours very similar feelings of connection toward Daniel, and has no idea what to make of it! Maybe there is a version of the simulation where Daniel tries to wake Eyk up instead, and must convince him of their past—if Eyk thinks he’s lost his wife, what does this new romantic dynamic stir in him? Does Maura notice the tension between them? Does Elliot have any idea what’s going on? I think he can have two wet-looking kittens as fathers, don’t you? And feel free to explore other versions of events—maybe these two actually come to blows a time or two, and then end up furiously making out, or whatever. Maybe Eyk and Daniel wound one another mortally in one simulation, how terrible!

Ángel/Krester

This one is also a very delicious ship for that unexplained connection—the yearning, the sense of deep familiarity, the desire for handjobs in the midst of a very serious crisis; the stark contrast between Ángel, who makes no effort to conceal his intentions and desires, and Krester, who is repeatedly forced to fight his nature in order to save himself, is such an excellent one, especially because there is no shared language between them, and I’d absolutely love to see that explored in further detail.

Please also free to explore their pasts as much as you’d like—did Ángel end up in a similar situation where he was forced to suppress his desires and identity? He sure seems panicked about the idea of returning home. Does Ángel struggle with his infidelity, or does his interest in Krester override that guilt entirely? Maybe you’d like to make more sketches of Krester in Ángel’s notebook from previous simulations, full Titanic-style. Did Krester ever end up sketching him semi-clothed or nude? Did they have any other interactions on the ship, or engage in sexual shenanigans in different areas during prior simulations? What does their relationship look like in 2099?

Also, you could also explore a version of events where Krester does not end up jumping from the ship, or where Ángel does not die in the end—how do they look, disheveled and confused, as the simulation is deleted? Does Krester run through Ángel’s memory, or vice-versa? Does Ángel get into fisticuffs with Iben in one simulation, or does he wrap Krester up in his fancy coat and try to keep him safe? Does Krester ever see Ángel’s scars and wish to touch him tenderly in return?

Ángel/Ramiro

This ship excites me for different reasons; there is clearly a shared past here, and I absolutely must know how Ramiro has come to murder and impersonate a priest, and what his connection to Ángel and his family is (was he their servant? was he already on the run when he met Ángel and his family?). There seems to be a very strange power struggle happening here, if you can even call it a struggle; Ramiro’s devotion to Ángel (despite how he’s treated) is so fascinating, and Ángel clearly has different ideas about compromising one’s identity and values.

I’d love to see anything you’re willing to make with these two—more wolf and sheep imagery, or other predator/prey symbolism? Art of them together (both SFW and NSFW welcome), cuddling in the cabin beds, or banging, Has Ángel ever found the priest facade alluring? Does Ramiro find it difficult to balance this religious act with his own sense of self and his own values? Is Ángel’s sketchbook also filled with images of Ramiro, or small love letters and notes for later? In versions where Ángel does not die, or perhaps in simulation where Ramiro dies instead, what does their relationship look like in the end? Are they devoted to one another through thick and thin, regardless of their traumas and pasts? Do they ever break up? And again, show me more of Ángel’s scars—write about them, show me flashbacks of how he received them (whether the memory is real or not), let Ramiro caress them lovingly.

Ángel/Krester/Ramiro

…and maybe this is not Ramiro’s first rodeo, after all. Maybe this is something that he is familiar with, after their adventures and time spent together; maybe he wants to see what all the fuss is about Krester himself, or maybe he is simply very supportive of Ángel following his heart, even if it means his attentions are split; maybe this is just a dynamic that worked once, or a few times, or every time before now. If Krester survives until later, does he appreciate what Ramiro does for his father? If Ángel jumps overboard, do Ramiro and Krester mourn him together?

I’d really love to see Krester and Ramiro engage in a conversation where their language barrier prevents them from clearly communicating, but there is something comforting for Krester in discovering a “priest” who is much like himself, and unashamed of it, and something weirdly religion-kink-heavy for Ángel, being in the middle of two Men Of God. Any kind of religious imagery is very much welcome here, visual or otherwise—if you know of any Bible verses that speak of a threesome between a fake priest, the son of a fake priest, and The Most Pretentious Guy Around, please feel free to incorporate that in there, too. ;)

Jérôme/Lucien

This is a ship that I did not see coming, yet which took me by surprise all the same. I love characters who arrive at the beginning of a story together, and it was a hundred times better to discover that not only was Jérôme also French, but a fellow deserter like Lucien, and to see them finally forced to set aside their enmity and collaborate in the boiler room was such a delicious thing… right up until the end ;-; but since it seems there’s even more history to them than we’ve yet seen, I would really love to see a little more of these two together!

And also, we saw that Jérôme’s little dream-sphere was the ~memory~ of Lucien leaving him—assuming each character has a very different key memory, what does that mean Lucien’s memory might be? Would it have to do with Jérôme, too, or with Clémence? We get to see a far more vulnerable side to Lucien after his seizures become public knowledge, so is this a side of him that Jérôme has encountered before now? In the 2099 ship, do they share a similar background or history? I’d love to see them in the midst of their camaraderie, possibly bandaging one another up in the trenches, or keeping watch over one another at night; military-style portraits of the two handsome soldiers during their service would be very cool, or perhaps moody art of Jérôme in his cell, and Lucien walking away from him.

I’d like to see some alternate takes on their scenes, too. If Lucien had not perished the way he did, but rather died at a later time (or simply more slowly and pathetically lol) would he and Jérôme have reconciled, or come to understand one another better? Maybe they’re ex-lovers, too, and that adds an extra layer of complication to things when they finally come face-to-face! Would Lucien have held the hands of both Clémence and Jérôme to keep them safe while the simulation was being corrupted? I’d love to see them all together again in any scenario you’d like. <3

Ling Yi/Olek

These two, on the other hand, are absolutely the ship I saw coming, and 100% the ship that I would be happy to see remain canon for, like, the rest of my life. I have such a strong urge to protect Ling Yi, and it delighted me to no end to discover that she and Olek seemed to share the same unexpected sense of familiarity and trust that some of the other, uh, pairs? triangles? did, but with the added barrier of communication (which is, as you may have guessed, one of my favourite aspects of the entire series). There was so much about their interactions that delighted me because everything was a game of charades mixed with intuitive action… and, of course, the fact that Olek is washed away near the finale of the simulation to leave Ling Yi alone once more (with Virginia, of all people :/) just adds that little extra bit of heartbreak. ALSO, the fact that we did not get to see the entirety of Olek’s background/core trauma memory is positively fucking criminal, so. Please keep in mind that I just love people submerged in tar, or whatever.

But yes, give me art of these two running around the ship! Give me some backstory for Olek that he tries to tell Ling Yi on the Kerberos, but cannot! Give me these two in Competent Action Hero poses (the real captains we have are, apparently, the friends we made along the way)! I would love to see versions of them in other simulations—Ling Yi shoving Virginia overboard in order to liberate herself and Olek witnessing it? Olek seems to grasp a few languages, so maybe through trial and error he picks up a little bit of Cantonese as she tries to communicate with him? Maybe they are capable of communicating perfectly in 2099, where Olek is a young mechanic aboard the ship and Ling Yi is en route to a new job she is reluctant to begin! Or perhaps, seeing as nearly all other people who feel some inexplicable connection to a “stranger” share at least one language, there is some reason why they cannot communicate with a shared spoken language in ‘reality’ (one or both are deaf/mute, etc.). I’d love to see them in a ‘70s-inspired sci-fi environment with their sci-fi outfits on, or see what Yuk Je thinks of her son-in-law. :’)

Landon & Darrel

I just thought these two were downright hilarious. Please feel free to get creative in what you make with these two—do they have more silly conversations at work? Do they stand around and gossip to each other during every simulation? Is it possible that one or both of them might play a more important role in a different simulation? Are they both in the lower-class portion of the ship, and if so, do they travel together often, or is this a relatively new friendship? If you wish to put them on the Prometheus in 2099, as well, show me what they look like! Tell me what their roles are, and if they’re as close in that world as they are in the 1899 simulation! I’ll be happy with anything at all. <3

Passengers of the Kerberos (any)

Just give me any sort of interactions you want, honestly! Any of your faves, any of my faves, as many or as few as you’d like; main cast, side characters and crew, it matters not. Give me platonic friendships, blossoming romance, feelings of mild confusion mixed with sexual attraction, or even just casual interactions. Costume swaps, different outcomes in previous simulations, art which makes use of culturally-appropriate imagery for each character, new dialogues between characters who don’t interact enough, speculation on roles and relationships in 2099, anything goes. The sky’s the limit!
